A customer account is maintained for you so that you can access the facility and backup your servers. Your account is protected by a password known only to the administrative staff of your company. Our software runs on your compouters and is set up so that the client automatically wakes up (at a preset time) and prepares your data for backup. It determines which files have been changed since the last backup, compresses and encrypts them for security, then contacts our servers and transmit the encrypted data off site. Our servers verify and store the encrypted data. The next morning the backup is transferred offsite for permanent safe keeping. Customer can rest assured that their data is safe, because it is stored off-site. |
